Rivermark

Rivermark is a transformative project in Cambridge, MA. The 50-year-old brutalist landmark building on the Charles River is the largest asset in HRI’s portfolio of multifamily residential buildings. Formerly named by its address, 808-812 Memorial Drive, the new name Rivermark captures the energy of the community, its riverside location, and its long-standing presence.

The project approach included a deep understanding of the existing residential community, ensuring the brand resonated across a diverse group of people: from seniors who've lived in the building for decades, to young international families, to graduate students attending Harvard University, to corporate partners leasing commercial space. Understanding their needs and the ever-changing nature of the property led to the development of the dynamic brand identity with inspiring symbols that represent signals of change.
