PCA is one of the largest design firms in the Boston area, known for their ability to balance creativity with practicality. As their work has become more high-profile, the need for clear, intentional communication has also increased. Existing systems made it difficult to consistently tell stories across platforms, so we collaborated on a comprehensive content framework designed to support realistic workflows.
The new content system included two components: a strategy defining content pillars and platform-specific distribution, and design principles built upon PCA’s brand, with techniques for extending the visual identity. The first application of the framework was a placemaking campaign, This must be the place, giving the firm a practical model for ongoing content development.
PCA now has a scalable system for producing and distributing content that supports both consistency and variety. The framework enables the firm to demonstrate expertise across architecture, interior design, planning, and placemaking, while balancing project-focused content with people-centered stories. They now communicate in a way that feels approachable yet authoritative, reinforcing their position with a clear, human-centered point of view.
